Tree management
Tree management and removal for Snohomish County properties
Cactus LLC handles heavy tree work on private properties in and around Snohomish, Washington: large diameter removals, technical takedowns near structures, canopy reduction, dormant season pruning and storm cleanup. Tight access and close quarters are normal on the properties we work on.
Tino Mejia walks the property before quoting. He has worked in the trade since 2011.

Power lines
We keep our crew, tools and equipment at least 10 feet from power lines, including the service line to your house, and farther from high voltage lines.
When a tree is closer than that, the utility or a qualified line clearance crew handles that part first. Tell us about any lines near the tree when you request a walkthrough.
If a tree or limb is on or near a power line, stay clear and call your electric utility or 911 first.
Heavy tree work we take on
- Large diameter removals
- Technical takedowns near structures
- Canopy reduction
- Dormant season pruning
- Storm cleanup
We do not present our crew as arborists.
Removals and takedowns near structures
Taking a tree down next to a house, garage or fence is a sequencing problem: what comes down first, where the wood lands, and how the wood and debris leave the lot. We plan the takedown around those limits.
Tell us the species if you know it, the approximate trunk size, the distance to structures, and any HOA rule you already have in writing.
Permits and protected trees
Many cities, including Snohomish, require a tree permit or advance notice before a significant tree comes down, and trees in critical areas or their buffers need approval first. We check the rules for your address on the walkthrough and tell you what is needed before work starts.
Pruning and canopy reduction
Not every tree should come out. We will tell you plainly whether pruning or removal fits your goal, and we will not sell pruning you do not need.
Storm cleanup
Storm cleanup is part of our year round work. We are not a 24 hour emergency service. Call 425.496.4051 and we will tell you honestly when we can come.
